i have an '09 street Bob, I want to get rid of the sparto light. I bought a No School Choppers x28 side mounted kit with taill ight. I can get the running light working, the brake light glows very very dimly, When I hit the brakes, both lights cut off.

The light set ups seem like a direct tap. The running light wire, as far as I can tell, is orange with a white stripe, the brake light, red with a yellow stripe.

If anyone has any advice for making this work, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sounds like a bad ground. It's almost always a bad ground.

It ended up being the ground. The ground wire was on pin 4.

lebroba,

I'd like to buy a No School Choppers right side mount plate for my 2007 Street Bob.

What axle size did you order? Did the install require any custom fabrication to mount?

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!
