Today, BC, SL and family will go and participate in the annual Memorial of the Purple Heart in Hartselle, AL. We went last year. We all have t-shirts that were made for us by our Niece and her husband for riding in memory of BC's dad. We will all be wearing them today. It is supposed to be hot so will have to ride home on the interstate to cool off.

Enjoy or hope you "enjoyed" the day, Earlene. Y'all be safe, don't get a Purple Heart today. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

That's awesome. A very worthy cause. Be safe.

Ride went well. We had 27 people to rotate through 10 flags on the flag line. Ceremony took about an hour so all in all it was a nice day. quick ride home on the interstate to cool off. Us younger folks need to get more involved though. Some of these old guys have forgotten their military stuff.
