Heading over for a couple nights. Have some friends from Ohio headed down, supposed to arrive later today. Haven't seen them for a few years now, old party buddies. Always did Wetzel and Chillicothe EasyRider Rodeo with them. Great people. He is an LEO, his twin a dispatcher. Can't wait to do some good riding and see some bands. Tonight, our annual David Allan Coe concert, and tomorrow night we get to see Warrant again. I'll see you all on the flip side Sat. night. We both work Sunday.

Have fun. I wouldn't be caught anywhere near Daytona during Bike Week or October but if being hrassed by cops in a town that doesnt want you there sounds like fun more power to ya. Not trying to rain on your parade, just be carefull out there and be aware that they are looking for a reason to fuck with you.

Have fun, Kim. I know you have been there and know what to expect. Wish I could catch that David Alan Coe show!

Looking forward to what you and Spurrs have to say about the events. Las Vegas Bikefest was fun, but attendance was WAY down. Lots of empty spaces at Vendor Village, and the bands they had scheduled there were mediocre at best. Big names were all over town, but 'optional at additional cost'. Still had a great time, just missed the roar and crowds of biker folk. Haven't been to Palm Springs Bike Week in a few years. Wasn't a 'BIG' event then, guessing it still isn't. lots of old and very rich folk there that don't particularly care for the noise and crowds, and don't need the revenue produced. Still like it there, maybe because we stay Freebie at Rancho Las Palmas Spa. Local "Car Row" doesn't have a Chevy or Ford dealer, but there is a Ferrari and Rolls dealer.... tell you something Also, a specialty store that sells $60,000+ golf carts.
