Cool photos Rocco. They'd make a great contribution to an introduction thread. You look like the kind of guy I want to get to know better. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

PS: How the hell did you attach so many pictures in one post? All I've ever been able to get is one. If I try to attach a second picture it gives me some bullshit error. Is it a server issue or browser platform?...I'm on firefox running an XP pro platform yet.

Clay, looks like he uploaded the last three to his album and then used the "inset image" tool.

AND, welcome Rocco. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/beerbang1.gif)

Should add: The size of the rest sums to less than the 150k limit. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I use Photoshop to reduce the resolution to 72dpi from the original 300dpi. The process in Photoshop is "save for web"
that's probably what most graphic imaging programs use, or something similar...on a computer monitor all you are going
to see is 72dpi. Now if I wanted to have a 3 foot by 4 foot poster made then the 72dpi image file would look like crap
compared to making the same size poster using the 300 dpi image file. The way I see it, take the photo in high resolution
and save it that way in case you want to do something with it. And make a duplicate file to use for resizing and uploading.
CNET probably has a free program you can download to change your image resolution before uploading a file.
A couple of the photos started off at over 200k as a 300 dpi image...crop it, reduce it and you'll be surprised the 72 dpi
looks better than the big file with all the sky and trees and the bay behind the subject.

By the way I'm down here in San Diego...where are you?

I thought some of you former (or current) military guys might have some unit or service patches or something along those lines.

Yeah, but it does get old quick when folks constantly come up and try to play stump the chump.
