Out of the kindness of my heart, I'm going to recommend against offering to mow.

When we were dating Bruce had spinal surgery. I got off work earlier than he did so I shot over to his place to mow for him, (like the sweetheart I am). When I finished he politely said, "thank you for mowing but please don't ever do it again". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

You see I'm a farmer and I mow in perfect straight lines. He says to me, "Why would you mow in straight lines? Look around you in nature. Do you see any straight lines? What would possess you to mow in a straight line?"

So if you've ever walked down the 75ft long path to our house and wondered why it zig zags, now you know.

Straight lines when mowing, I love it. there is someone more OCD than me! When I mowed, I would go North to South this week, and East to West the next. Damn right, the lines were straight and the squares were identical ;)

I too would have been fired, straight tight military lines. Bruce is right though on scout missions the first thing we scanned for was anything overstraight or right angled that would immediately signal man made.

Jarhead ... should I plan on swinging through Port A on the way to gathering??

(* Likely to be stopping in New Orleans anyways ... to meet with Loud & Proud and that cheesehead guy from West Allis. *)

Mike/Gary/Robert: please keep me posted on your schedule. If I can't make it to New Orleans to meet up with you all, I'll try to get to the stop on the way to Peoria from N.O. - guessing Memphis?

Mike I can't take off that time of year, I wish I could but summer is our peak time with work. That said if you want to make the ride down I would love to see you, provide you with a clean bed cold beer and a steak dinner.

My brother is riding out from LA with a couple friends to attend, so I might ride west to meet them on the way to my house. We will ride to Davenport, IA on Wed or Thur. Meet up with Bruce and ? somewhere on Friday - Bruce knows and will figure out a meeting point (Psycho Silo Saloon?).

I think the six-pack will roll down from Minnesota along the Mississippi then cut east after taking Deb, Kurt, Mike and Trina to Poopy's in Savanah for the first time. I think we'll be down Thursday evening.

Are there enough air mattresses to bunk everyone at HQ Bruce?

I think we are doing a river run to Poopys and the Iron Horse (and others along the way and back to Davenport) on Thursday, too. Let's keep in contact!

Not at this time. And several have leaks I can't locate. We might have to employ tents this year too. Sounds like it's growing. Unfortunately I've been too busy to even start the spreadsheet.

If air mattresses needed, I might be able to bring a couple if that would help. I might have room, as Ty utterly ruined the blow up pig he gave me . . .
