That's the sign Ty saw and called me over to see at the Vendor Mall for the 110th....

Well, after a few minutes of talking to the guy that came up with the idea I bought a set of Bag Irons....

http://www.ridesolutionz.com/index.php

I'm really happy with the results... The bags will keep their shape and never sag... It's a really neat system and easy enough to install. I put the set I bought on in the parking lot before we left the event...

Mention HST and you might get a discount... :-)

On the way home I even strapped things down to the tops of the bags and they held their shape....

Great Mod for Heritage Softail Saddlebags...

As much as I hate to admit it I do have a saggy bag, Odd it is only one side. I will have to get a bag iron.

Boy they don't give those away do they? $125 for the couple plastic frames in that bag, seems steep...but at least they were well engineered and installed easily.

Well, the rally special was $110.00.... :-)

I wouldn't have bought them if they were plastic, Clay...

It's all metal flat and round stock, powder coated black... One piece that bolts right onto the bag mounting bolts... I installed them while we were waiting for you to unlock your bags... (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Anyway, fwiw I thought they were worth it.... :-)

Very cool Robert. I swear "T" is going to own a Heritage someday. It's the only model she would have. She watched the install video with me!!

That's a smart lady.... :-)

Anyway, when the time does come and she has a Heritage I'd highly recommend a set of these Bag Irons....
