On 17 Sep this happened to me:

I rode the bike to work, in the dark .... not my favorite time to ride. Was ready to enjoy a ride home and as I was going down the road I look down and I have no speedometer, no clock, no blinkers. Hummmm, I gotta get home SAFE!! So back to using arm signals then I realize my brake lights must not be working cause that van behind me wasn't slowing down, so down and back my left hand went to tell them to please slow down. They did. So I made it home without any incidents but there goes riding for a few days till I can chase down what is up. Sure hope it's simple. I have my head light, running lights and tail lights. I am stumped. I will take it into the dealer soon anyway cause it needs a service.

Update:

Picked up my bike today.....new ignition switch, new battery and it needed the 40K done. The switch was the big problem and probably the cheapest single item. Ugh $$$ !!
