We're working on it!

Maybe nowhere near PDC! 2 months out and lots are booked.

Give us a couple days. Thanks.

NEED A DECISION by MIDNIGHT Thursday!

so, if we're going with this place:
1. Post up in for Sat
2. Post up in for Sun
3. if Sun too, do you want the LS deal?
4. I'll confirm with the hotel on my card and you all can follow up with them Friday.

These are the for sure IN peeps with roomate:

Marky and Michelle
Huey and Kietha
Fgowi & Consuela
SeaHag and Sarah
Nightrider & Adli
Spurrs & Ernie
Phildo
Sammy
Big Ty
Esteban Cee
Mark (Caroline's friend)

riding but IDK if sleeping - Buck and or Dot

FYI:
On expedia.com there are 3 hotels in PdC with vacancies.
$110 and geared for families with children, on the south edge of town
$117 every reviewer said the rooms smell like smoke, on the south edge of town
$149 downtown near the bridge, good place but pricey.

Thanks to a coworker, I found a great place about 1/2 hour south east of Prarie du Chien in Fennimore (but hey it's a nice area for a ride!) Rooms are $74 - $84 per night.
http://www.thesilentwoman.com/
There is a cool looking restaurant and lounge onsite - see the photos online. Restaurant's a little pricey, $17-25 per entree, but onsite is a good thing.

They have 9 rooms left for Sat and plenty for Sun if anyone wants to stay over (Monday is Memorial Day). 9 is exactly what we need for the definitely IN count.
Buck's in at Timmerman's but IDK about staying in PdC. If Buck and Dot both make it and stay the night, we've got an extra single guy so we'll need somebody willing to double up.

She has agreed to HOLD these rooms for me until FRIDAY 3-30-12.

Additionally, there is a deal on livingsocial.com for $114 total for 2 nights plus a $25 gift certificate to the restaurant, a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. She can't give out this deal unless you go through living social. And you can't just book them through LS because I've blocked all the rooms! So if we decide to stay here, let me know if you want to stay Sat & Sun on the LS deal and I'll make arrangements with her to accept your LS deal. (I have NO IDEA how livingsocial works!)

I'm due back at work Sunday night at 10pm...so Sara and I will be heading out early that day to come home. I like the idea of staying out of the "big" town at the silent woman. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Still need to get my reservations in for Timmerman's...Think I'll call now.

Alright...just got my room at Timmerman's booked. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

So are we settled on the silent woman? Should get on that too before I procrastinate away my chance.

She told me to call her back in the morning to confirm we're doing this and set it all up. (Don't worry, I have the rooms on hold already.)

I'll post up details as soon I talk to her (probably by 9am)

Bruce & I are staying 2 nights. Doesn't sound like anybody else is considering that........

DONE DEAL in Fennimore WI!

She says no need for everybody to call with their cards. She's got 9 rooms booked under me and is happy. (they don't do the card reservation thing.)

PLEASE POST THAT YOU'RE REALLY IN. I don't want to have extra rooms if we won't need them.

I'm going to send her an email with the last names of who's in each room, so I'll need to know your roommates for sure. And no Rick you cannot room with Michelle!

Looks like Dot is getting more likely so we'll have an extra single guy. They have cots so hopefully 3 singles to a room is okay if necessary.

Second nighters:
I do need to know by Friday afternoon if you're staying a second night because I'm going to cancel all unneeded rooms for Sunday night so I don't get stuck.
I signed up for the living social thing. It was painless. You "buy" with a credit card from living social, they email you a voucher and you call the hotel to make the reservation, which are technically already made but she said she'll honor the living social purchases anyway.

Sara and I are definitely in barring family emergency...we currently have the time and money. We are also definitely out for staying Sunday night as I'm due back at work at 10pm that night.

Thanks for hooking us up "T". (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

I'll take a room alone if need be. No cot for me please. EDIT: For one night as I'll head home on Sunday.

Straight south down US-61 to Dubuque, US 151 to Cedar Rapids, I-380 south to I-80 west, I-35 south to KC: about 460 miles.

You'd probably take US-30 west at Cedar Rapids?

Won't anyone take pity and share a room with Big Ty? He's neat, clean, picks up after himself and easily makes friends with others.

Won't anyone take pity and share a room with Big Ty? He's neat, clean, picks up after himself and easily makes friends with others.

I'll be glad to share a room with Ty. Leave the box outside.

Good question, Ty!

I don't have any idea what is going on in St. Louis. I am assuming (I know . . . I know . . . ) that Marky has been in contact with Jeff?

Motel rooms in St. Louis needed or not???

Mark???
