Sorry, Mike rolled in right around 6:00pm tonight as predicted. We've been busy catching up over some legendary Mankato family owned pizza and watching some old episodes of SNL.

He didn't get too wet. Said he only rode through 10-15 minutes of rain...which was considerably better than the weather we drove home from Hastings in this afternoon...so he got lucky.
He'll have an easy day hanging out here tomorrow while I take care of final details. We'll leave Tuesday morning for Marks.

I guess it will be around 3 or 4 then. I thought you were off and riding out to meet us?? Maybe we'll take the scenic route through Okoboji area to kill a little more time because I think it's only like a 4 hour ride from here to your place.

Ty is on the flight to KC (via Denver) and didn't want to pay a bag fee on Frontier, so he just took one bag and his helmet. Seems like this is a no-no and he has to wear the helmet. Now, it is Ty and it may be just a way to get free drinks, but ya never know!

Thanks for the heads up Mark. Sounds like since it's such a short day of riding, we're going to try to get out of here by 9am and head west to some famous petroglyphs in southwest Minnesota then head your way. We'll contact you when we find lunch to give you a more accurate time of arrival. We don't really have a route at all...we just have a direction and destination.

We put on 100 miles today just showing Mike some of my favorite loops right around Mankato and the Minnesota River Valley. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/bike.gif) That's after I attended a funeral, Mike shopped for new highway pegs at HD to replace the one that vibrated out because Mike didn't loktite the bolt...We teamed up and knocked out all the yard work for the week. When we finished the ride, we grilled steaks and put back some Guiness then capped off the night with a bonfire on a beautiful evening. The weather today couldn't have been any better...But I think I'm already sunburned.
