Again, I got fucked out of any vacation I put in for next summer; so I guess I'll be playing hooky again and calling in sick Thursday and Friday...Lucky for me I only live 6 hours from Milwaukee. Hopefully, we can pick up Buck and Dot on the way and ride in with them. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)

I just hope Sara can pull off something similar with her employer so we can go together. She hates missing these. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/beerbang1.gif)

I'd love to take in a round of golf with Bruce and Rick, but seeing the pic of that course has me convinced I'd spend the whole day in sand traps or the water.

It's not safe (or fun) to ride through Chicago so you'll just have to detour over to Peoria and stay at our place.

Well worth the extra 100 miles!

I have no interest in Chicago.

True story. I college buddy of mine had an ongoing battle with the MacGraw-Hill Book Club regarding a charge for a book he returned. He finally addressed a letter to:

"The Head Fuck Up
Fuck Up of the Month Club"

He got an irate letter back, but he accomplished what he wanted. They cancelled his membership. We all suspected the woman was just pissed because someone in the mail room decided she was the "Head Fuck Up". (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif)

Funny you say that! That place does have rates for periods of 4 hours.
Scroll down to the rate comparison chart and check out the AFTERNOON column.

Seems like the place has mellowed over the years. Back in the 80's my boss and his wife always went. They had goofy theme rooms like the "jungle room". Guess it was a waste of money, my old boss n his wife are divorced now. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/confused.gif)

course it all comes down to MATH for me and im very thankful I have options! If its cheeper to ride from here to there I wil if its cheaper to fly to Illinois and ride the 01 (who is a sweet machine) than thats what i will do! Im 99% positive I can fly and ride for less than i can ride across.

I have done it so many times I no longer feel like less of a biker, im about due for a long ride but a coastal one up to Washington is what i have in mind!

You don't have to back up to anybody...like you said!

How 'bout we meet you in WA someday! You know we took a U-Haul from TheDalles on. We want to ride Route 12 across Idaho "again" someday!

Maybe we should fly and ride!

I am in on that, Swic! I used to live in Spokane and W. Montana and N. Idaho are absolutely some of the best of the best in the U.S! Besides, my daughter and granddaughters live there, so I'd get to see them, too.
