Don't base any decision on US because we have several yet minor hurdles...mainly care for Janie and a 110 pound stud dog. LOL

I did vote June for three reasons. 1) I'm more interested in RIDING and hanging out with you guys vs the HD craziness. 2) June will be a little cooler than July. 3) cost. $200+ a night is a no go for us.

I never have been a fan of big biker rallies. Daytona, Sturgis during Sturgis week etc....hold no interest for me. Rather be on the open road without a thousand drunk ass bikers stumbling out of bars.

It doesn't matter to me when it is as I will have to use sick days no matter when because of the fucked up vacation situation at work. But in discussing it with Sara, we like the idea of having all the various entertainment options that will be available around the anniversary...however, I am not a fan of gigantic crowds and monstrous traffic jams....which is a big part of why I have yet to attend the Sturgis rally.

What do you mean Ty that you don't see this as a "rally"...this is the 8th annual HST rally...no matter when Mike schedules it. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)

What ever! guess there will be t-shirts this time! What was Bruce's get together? Mike can call it what ever he wants but from the sound of some comments :/
The whole "rally thang turns the fact that Mike has invited all of us and offered to host a party at his house and escort us around for the 110th into some kind of group decision. Really?

Ty he chose to do that probably due to concerns about cost factors. You know as well as I do having both hosted one you go thru this early "phase" then you make a decision and roll.

I went thru this when planning the Cincy rally. I posed a poll as well. Everything worked out great other than the screwy weather we had!!

Good for you Mike... That's how you have to do it.

We will try like hell to be there...unless it involves a grand in hotel cost. LMAO

I'm sure Milwaukee is a fine city and you'll be an awesome host but that's just too much money for a flippin' hotel room. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Sure Rick. I'll sell mine and you give me 20 grand to make up the balance of what I'll need. Sounds fair to me.
