QUOTE(Ordy @ Sep 5 2013, 08:58 PM) *
Dennis Leary had a joke about his dad. Tough as nail's Irishman who wood paneled everything in their house, including the ceiling. One day he was cutting some paneling in the living room, with a power saw when he stopped cutting and waltzed into the kitchen with half his finger hanging from bone and skin. Grabbed a roll of duct tape and taped his finger back on. Went back to the living room to finish his panelling job. Denis Leary said that after that day he and his siblings never cried in front of their dad.

You remind me of that Tee. Tough as nails…

Get well soon kiddo…

Ride safe

It was truely awesum to see all of you. I still find it difficult to believe that a freak of humanity such as myself, was lucky enough to hook up with a group as incredible as you guys (& gals). T, I think Bruce needs to get on Google and learn some asian massage techniques, but don't trust any online accupuncture tutorials. Anyway, I hope you have a speedy recovery, I'm sure being laid up is killing you. Also, a huge thanks for dinner and the overall vibe of HST central. I will be touching base with most of you individually when I get contact info from Nightrodrider???. Fred, next year for sure!! Sick & Sammy, it's to bad you had other plans, you guys were missed. Looking forward to next year, I'm open to anywhere/anytime, if it means I get to party with this group, I'M IN!!!!!!!!!! You were at the Gypsy Tour?...man I gotta cut back (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/doobie.gif)

My mistake, I thought the gathering for "The Mile" last labor day, was the Rally. Alright so I am at 1 and counting. Perhaps being "too safe" is not such a good thing (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/doobie.gif) .

LOL ... the "rally" versus "gathering" versus "regional gathering" versus "event"

I refer to any/all now as gatherings .... termonoligy gets too confusing.

I think a reasonable goal is one ==> two gatherings per year for the HST peeps ... more would be better ... but expensive.
