Here you go, Robert!!

Hosted by FGOWI and T14B.

The races, on more than a few bucket lists, will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Fastest dirt track on the planet. The first Springfield AMA circuit race was today. www.amaproracing.com/ft/

We'll call the "official" event from Friday, August 29, 2014, with folks rolling out Monday September 1, 2014. Thursday arrivals are perfectly welcome. Tom, WHATEVER works for you in conjunction with your Montana loop.

The days before the races will include some shooting, up to and including RPGs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) Um, pistols only please.

Anyone interested in another paddle wheeler ride? We'll probably do some riding up and dowm the Illinois river valley. And some major hanging out here at our casa. We have accomodated 5 couples in the house and up to 5 "shed people". It's an air conditioned shop. I lived in it for 18 months while building this cabin.

The Band we had last time, some will remember, is booked. So, entertainment is unknown at this point. We'll see...

We can always accommodate tents or RVs (Mark and Earlene). Course, HDMARK may bring one too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Let's do this!!

I don't know if Sara is going to be able to join us due to work; but I plan to show and call in 'sick' on Sunday as I know I won't have the night off approved.

Of course with that Sunday night being a big $$ holiday at work; I might skip the races and just party with you all Thursday through Sunday morning...we'll see.

I says, "Yup, I'm sure that's the case!"

Some, maybe many of you are not on Facebook. Eddie posted a pic from Robert & Anita's Texas rally. Ty and Sandra dancin'.
Anyway, Clay commented on what a great rally it was, etc. He mentioned meeting Sandra or the first time. And, how great she is! She said that we HSTers will always be part of her family and let her know when the next rally is.

Not being one to miss an opportunity I invited her to The Mile. I mentioned on there that I was aware that she has dogs, a job, yada yada. And that there was no pressure. BUT, told her the airport code for Peoria is PIA. Told her we would obviously pick her up. Mentioned that Rick, me, maybe Clay (if Sara can't make it) could have her as a passenger. Told her we would not put her on a dangerous bike.
Hope she makes it. Maybe she could bring Kim and make a Mother Daughter thing of it!

Reserve me a spot Bruce. If I have to I'm gonna rebuild the entire charging system, again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) While I've got it that far I'm gonna replace the drive belt, rear tire, brake pads and fix that damn rattling shift lever.

Understood, Mike. We're at about 15 peeps. We may need some help.

BTW, and this is most decidedly NOT a "by the way". Sandra has confirmed her attendance. I can remember Ty "Face Timing" (is that it?) with Sandra from here and walking around taking a bunch of pics of the house inside and out. He spoke of it in a very flattering manner.

What I know is that it will be a bit bitter sweet for her to be here so we gotta show her a good time!!!! It will be some kind of bitter sweet for me too!!! Cause this place is where I really got to know Ty.

I'll always remember Rick and I slamming golf balls at Ty at about 100 yards. wedges and 9 irons, as I remember. Ty running around shagging them with his hat!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) I don't think he ever caught one but I thought he was going to break an ankle!!! Damn, what I would not give!!!

I've installed a permanent flag stick on that spot!!!

BTW, Spurrs will be here tomorrow. Damn that will be nice. Riding to the Quad Cities this weekend with Nightrider, Adli, "T" and I. Can't wait!!

Damn! This party is shaping up nicely. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yes.gif) We're trying to convince a couple friends of ours to make the trip too since they have the weekend off. Trina is one of Sara's long time best friends and last year she hooked up with a good guy named Mike who has a 2012 street glide. Another great couple to hang out with.

Good to know Bruce. Does that include the extra beds Mike was offering or is that just 'on-site'?

Also- Would we need to bring a tent and mattress? Or do you have all the supplies left over from the Milwaukee rally yet?

We haven't started booking beds at Mike's yet - so far we're just keeping a spreadsheet!

With the "committed peeps" all our beds and air mattress are filled, one futon is open, then there are the "maybes". This is not including Mike & Alisa or Gary, IDK if he's in or a maybe. Bruce and I have (2) tents, and I think Mike does too so I don't expect peeps to have to haul their own camping gear. We don't mind adding to the air mattress inventory, something tells me they'll keep getting used! Plus, Bruce is hoping to have the basement finished enough to sleep more people. And they'll be another bathroom down there.

I think you have a typo there Carmalita...We all know Screwball isn't going to show. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Sara's been getting messages all day from Trina as they've already started making preparations to do this trip with us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yes.gif) Mike's going to buy some cycle luggage and they are shopping for some other touring gear...so I'd say right now we are all likely. Sara seems pretty confident she's got the vacation time needed also. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)
