Try these coordinates Clay: 43°37'11.7"N 90°34'11.6"W(43.619927, -90.569898) - this is the cabin location...we could also hook up at the Rockton Bar.
ps Clay, sorry we took so long to reply, just got back from vacation today.

I like the sound of meeting up at the Rockton bar...that place is cool and we'll be ready for a drink by then.

It rained all day.
It's going to rain morning and evening tomorrow.
It's going to rain all day Monday.

So we're leaving mid day tomorrow to hopefully miss the rain!

Hopefully Mike and Gary left early enough today to miss the rain.

Been a tad soggy around here lately too. Heading out 1st thing in the morning, just under 1,000 miles to go so no real hurry. Not sure where I'm stopping at for the night (somewhere in middle of Kentucky weather permitting). See everyone Tue evening.

Hey Tom. showing Mike in Maggie Valley, NC. on Find Friends.
We're in Hermann, MO. After the hottest day I think I ever spent on a scoot. That includes a little run from Grand Island, NE to Chadron, NE on a 102* day. That was a long 440 miles. I swear today was hotter!! I'm sure NOT! I'm just older!!
IN the previous 72 hours, before leaving home in rain 40 of them. It's gettin' a little surreal! 30 hours straight, without a break in the rain. Unreal!!
See you Tuesday!! Safe travels!!

After reading Bruce's post..... DAMN am I glad I live in the South West. No rain for months at a time, and with the very low humidity a 'wet vest' keeps you nice and cool

Happy Riding you guys!

A "little rain" is one thing but I am most sorry to report that

I will not be able to make it due to the weather. Got up @6:00 this morning and it's raining now. Local weather sez rain on my route for 500 miles. More predicted for Kentucky tomorrow. The I-70 route is out too as worse rain on it. The crap that's around the Chicago area is dropping to the S/E right in my path. Oh the humanity!

Bike is sitting outside completely loaded and with a tarp covering it. What to do with the "spirits". save it for next time or drink it?

Think we've had over 10 inches of rain since the 1st of June and they are calling for rain here every day this week except Wed/Thur. The tomato crop looks great with all this rain.

Sorry Tom. I don't blame you. Starting off a trip in the rain absolutely sucks! Rode to Memphis once in a hard rain.
We leave a day early to avoid 100% chance of rain during all daylight hours. Guess what. No rain until maybe 5 o'clock! Then 50%.
Usually, it's just June that's the bugger! This year June just kept on giving.

Mother fucker!...that ducks Tom! Sure has seemed like circumstances have sure conspired against the family getting together, as proper this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

We've got our fingers crossed that the ship weather will pass through and leave us high and dry on the back side by Wednesday morning.

Yea, it's a bummer. Was up and ready to ride @6:30 this morning and watched the Weather Channel/Weather Nation for 2 hours until the local rain stopped and it just don't look good. Pulled the bike back in the basement and unloaded it. Heavy sigh!

Well, Mike and I are here in Emminence. Great riding so far, no rain just brain sizzling HOT. Got to town shortly before 10am and immediately dumped our gear and did a 100 mile loop👍😎. The roads around here are FUCKING AWESOME!!! Nice blacktop very little debris (sand and shit) due to the very wet weather. It's like riding a roller coaster that does 90 with cup holders. We really miss having the family here, but, fuck you guys we'll have enough fun for all of you. In fact I'm over due for a safety update and a beer 😝😜. Bruce hope you're feeling better, and Tom, as Much as we'd love to see you, it's not worth the risk. We were watching your route and you would have needed flippers to get thru. There's always next time. Clay, give Mike or I a call Wednesday sometime.

Glad your enjoying the run. Unreal your missing the rain as it's been raining here bout every day. Thru/Fri may be dry here. Checked out the Eminence area on the net and it looked like nice riding country, did ya hit the 1,772 ft high point?

Got a call from Gary this evening and heard a first hand account of the roller coaster roads with lots of fast sweeping turns. Let's definitely make it a point to schedule a future rally back in this area with all the proper planning and timing in place. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bike.gif)

So far all preliminary scans of the weather look like we should skirt most of the rain. Thursday afternoon/evening being the highest threat; but hopefully we'll be into our motel for the night by the time the thunderstorms move in.

Gary may be running north on Friday or Saturday to try rendezvousing with Buck, Dot & our group. I'm expecting a call at the Rockton Bar from him Friday afternoon with the verdict. Nightrider has to go back to work Saturday so he's out after the Emminence run.

Started feeling the same way. Knees and hips bad enough I wasn't sure if I could hold the Ultra up anymore. Before I called it and started looking at rocking chairs I gave a trike a shot. On my 2nd one now. Still too many roads out there I've not ridden.

Good Luck my friend

What is your time frame for tomorrow? Spose to be nice. We can be to Rockton by 3:30 if you are tired of riding. Can do a little shooting the bull and a few rounds at bowling pins if you want tomorrow night. Give us a call when you get a chance.

Next door neighbor hosted a bowling pin shoot a couple weeks ago. It was FUN! They had .22, 9, .38 and .45 ACP divisions. I actually won the 22 with my K22 Masterpiece. Downed all 5 pins in 8.3 seconds (single action). Didn't bring my .38. Shot my xds absolutely crappy! Got beat out in the first round of .45. My last pin was about a foot off the ground when his hit!

Anyways, they're fun Clay! Have a go!

We should be leaving Galena by 11. Hope to be at the Rockton bar by 4-4:30. Some in our group have pretty tender backsides and need more breaks than my typical company though; but I'll do my best to keep on track. The shooting sounds like a blast! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cuda.gif)

I dunno. There's one in the parking lot at work. I have no idea who drives it. Kinda strange looking. A side by side, two seater trike.

Bought my FatBoy from Dale. Horse traded a '63 Buick Riviera. His kid Matt drove it for years. His first car. Not bad, I'd say.

He was kind enough to give me a personal back stage tour of the museum when it was in Mt. Vernon. Very cool then. Can't imagine now. But, I'd like to get there someday.
