You may know I've eliminated the tour pack off my FLTRUSE. It will probably stay off forever. But, for trips I'll need a rack. Racks not exactly conducive for tags. A removable rack uses two of the same four mounts as my stock plate (above the tail light). I really like the one in the link below. Anybody know if the tail light assembly on a RG is the same basic thing as a R-KING?

Any other suggestions?

You could always duct tape it to the fender (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) You said you were looking for suggestions, you didn't specify good ones. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

(IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) I thought of Tom (Sick Puppy) a couple days ago. Maybe you've seen some pics of Tom's "Packed" bike. He always has a roll of duct tape under a bungie.

I was in the truck, not the bike. Somebody had a problem that duct tape would "fix" perfectly. Sure nuff, I had a roll in the back. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) Don't leave home without it, I says to the dude!

I had a deer run into the side of my mustang last week while driving home. Ripped off the side scoop and while I am waiting for a new one to come, the access hole underneath is sporting a nice silver duct tape cover now. Kind of adds a redneck touch (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif)
