whats up everyone im sure there is a thread on here somewhere about this but i figured i might as well ask. i just purchased the santee 14" apes and im now going to order cables but i was wondering if any of the stock cables will work. if anyone has installed 14" apes on there sportster id like to kno any tips and tricks thanks alot

I changed out my bars on my '85 to 12 inch high Z bars on 6 inch risers which should be about the same stance as your apes. I think all the cables and brake hose need to be over stock length. You may get by with stock throttle cable, you'll have to check that out. Looks much cleaner with the wiring inside the bars, this is quite a pain to accomplish, be sure to solder everthing and use heat shrink sleeves. I had to lengthen all the wires, and reattached them inside the headlight housing
