Ordered this stuff and put some on the pieces that slide onto the end of the pipes where the retainer clip is supposed to hold everything in place when you bolt the flange to the head...

I've aways had issues with that retainer clip letting the pipe vibrate loose a little (Just enough to piss you off) but it gradually would get pretty bad and I'd have to pull the exhaust to fix it...

I've tried using set screws and that didn't work well....

This stuff seems to be working pretty good fine so far....

I'm a big fan if JB weld, I raced a whole season with it holding the head studs in on my CR 250R, and the guy I sold it to raced the next season as well. Good Stuff! I hope it work for you Robert.

Thanks, Greg....

It seems to be....

I didn't want use the regular JB Weld because of the heat although it sounds like it would've been fine too....

I had already drilled holes for the set screws so I rotated the flange so the holes weren't lined up and just filled the hole with this stuff against the pipe.... Figured it worked more like spot welding the fucker without a welder....

Anyway, I'm happy with how it worked out....

No more popping or shooting flames though... Member???
