Still waiting on a good word from SAMMY! Can't you pick him up on your way MIKE? or is it not far enough out of route for you!

Last word we had from Sandra, about a week ago, she still hasn't found affordable air fare for this trip. She said she will continue watching for a deal until the last minute; but at this time, it's too much out of pocket for a four day trip. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) We've got our fingers crossed for a break.

Not in the cards. I thought of that Rick; flying in and driving a chase car or something but I'm moving my kid again in a few weeks; to Pittsburgh no less, and, as old as this shit is getting - moving her in and out of dorms and apartments - gotta' do it! Hopefully this is the last time I help her move in to anywhere. Knowing me I'll probably end up missing moving her all over creation. As we speak she is in England right now, with her Brit boyfriend, visiting Stone Henge; kids got the life.

Thanks though, you guys rock. I know you'll have a great time! You guys always do!

Ride safe

Loading up today for a Wed am roll out. Weather is good and dry with mid 50's for the morning. Will probably have the electric heat on until I get to Grafton W Va on the west side of the eastern continental divide.
Shooting for western Ohio (Springfield/Dayton area) which will leave a easy Thur 300 mile run. Later if I run into any rain.

Montana Jim says he is leaving Wed evening for a short run to Sheridan Wyoming (to avoid the Sturgis crowd) and should arrive Fri eve. Around 1,300 for him and 750 for me.

OK..... a little warning for everyone. Darn little, I hope!!

And, YES, I know y'all can ride!!

Most knoe... when you come down our street, cross the bridge and make an immediate left. After about 200 feet the drive turns right. WATCH OUT FOR POT HOLES!! Actually, there should be "Bridge Out" signs posted. Very sorry! Just simply have not budgeted the time to get a skid steer out here and fix the damn road!!

So, end of a long day when you arrive keep this in the back of your mind. Anyone can handle this but, jus' sayin'.

Thank you.

Now returning to your regulatr programming!!

Everyone, be safe out there!!!!!

Whats the Android version of Friend Finder that we were all using? I have a Life360 program on my phone that I think does the same thing but doesn't sound familiar. Figured we'd turn the App on so Bruce & company can estimate our arrival.

It's about a 400 mile day for us. Quite long for Deb; who has several fused vertebrae in her back. So extra stops may be added beyond fuel. We have hope she'll be comfortable for the long haul as Kurt picked up an aftermarket tour pak with wrap around backrest. And additionally, old Blackduece happened to be hanging onto his old Air-Hawk saddle pad; which he located and shipped on short notice after I sent him a Facebook message. It arrived this afternoon. Seahag, et al, for Android, in the Google Maps app, go to the menu, and click "share location". From there, you can share you location with specific people in your contact list.
For you to see "them" they would have to share their location with you.
SL and I use it and it works pretty good.

Kudos to Deb for making the trip.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

A long day of riding is pretty rough but especially with her back issues....

I'm sure she'll be fine... Allow time for more frequent stops and that'll keep her comfortable....
