.........LePera Maverick Daddy Long Legs Seat. I knew when I got this bike that the seat had to go. I felt like I was sitting to far forward and way to damn high in the saddle. After some research I decided on this seat, and damn I'm glad I did. Dennis Kirk had the best price on shit seat and as cheap as I am you know I did my research. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/miner.gif) The picture sucks as it was taken with my cell phone.

I also installed my XiED's on the bike. Picked up a set @ half price and according to numerous folks, these work very well. We shall see.

Nice Joe. Does it "fit" you better now? How tall are you and what is your inseam?
Keep us posted on those xieds.

I have a LePera seat on my rig. Went to their shop in LA. to see about trading for one I bought online.Very friendly and helpful. Gal there (cute as can be) helped me pick out just what I wanted and they pretty much custom made it. That seat is around five years old and has gone many thousands of miles, sometimes at 500 a day.Still looks and sets like new.Wish I had gotten one with a back rest but maybe some day I'll have one fitted to it. I highly recommend them, still family owned and ran.

Good for you Ordy. I dont know how your doing it because I can't lose weight. (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) I'm serious,.......I've increased my runs now to 4-7 miles a day because of the Tough Mudder event I'm doing on April 9th and I've been gaining weight. I'm now walking around @ 230-234. I'm trying to be careful with what I eat but I just can't lose weight. What scares me is what happens if I just completely stopped running ? I'd be up to 300 lbs in no time. I'm thinking I need to back away from lifting weights as I believe the weight gain is probably coming from this.

Big... (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) It must be the weights though. Dang!

Joe, what about the Xied. Notice a difference? I've changed exhaust and it seems to be running a little lean. A little decel popping and such. I couldn't stand the stock exhaust but I really don't want to do anything else in terms of performance. Just like to cut out that popping and have it a little richer at the low end.

So I don't kill the damn thing when I'm taking off like I've done 3 or 4 times in 2500 miles.

It's definitely running a little cooler. I have smooth power throughout the gears for the little I've ridden the bike. I'd say these XIED's do whats advertised.

Uhhhh, how long has it been since you weighed a hundred pounds??? Congrats on the 10 lbs

Had a LePera "King & Queen Wedgie Special" on my Springer. Sure looked great, but on rides of over 200 feet gave you a terminal case of inflamed grommet!

Another case of the Long of body, short of leg humanoid. 5' 10" with a 30" inseam. I've lost 24 Lbs since Jan 21st. Hopefully looking to see slightly sub 200 by year end. Started at 264. portion control!

I had written a whole thesis on weight loss then decided no one wants to hear about weight loss from the skinny guy. Joe, just keep at it. Exercise makes ya hungrier. Don't feed the beast. Good luck and take it slow. Fast loss = rebound. Slow loss = lifestyle = long term thin.

Started at 264. portion control!

oh boy.......... thanks for the heads up; it's 240. I weigh 240 now.....

Damn Steve, 24 lbs! That's an eighth of a human! Good for you. Keep up the good work.

Ride safe
