Milwaukee Boots. Anyone have an opinion on them.

Or a suggestion on riding boots.

Currently I wear and love my Chippewa's but they don't seem to make them in black any more.

Never used Milwaukee Boots. I do end up buying "Harley" boots for one and only one reason. Two knee operations (fuck that's two reasons). No shit, I swear Harley boots grip various surfaces better than anything I've tried. And I need good grip cause if I slip even a little...can't revoer the fucker, I'm going down. Never has happened. Knock frickin' wood.

Absolutely hate the fucken "bling" on Harley boots. Wish I could find a black pair of Chukkas (6 in.) without any bullshit on them that would grip the road (concrete, blacktop, gravel etc.) as well as Harley boots do. Military chukkas are slicker than hammered shit.

Will - sorry about the CUDA reference. It was a while ago. Some will get it . . .

If you want, you can look up "markcuda" under members to see his old posts, but I wouldn't.

I'll try to keep my posts more current! (IMG:http://www.harleyshoptalk.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

I wish somebody would post an opinion of the Milwaukee stuff. I've seen their stuff advertised on the web a lot, but I've never talked to anybody who owned anything they make. Their stuff looks good in their catalog, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend that kind of money with out seein' it or an evaluation by a happy customer. Here's a link to their site.

Bargain Outfitters has some Milwaukee boots. I've purchased several pairs of duty boots from them. Decent prices.

Harley Boot are or were made by Wolverine. I had a pair years ago and loved them.

The next pair I had not so much and in my opinion they have gone way down hill the last few years.

Some of the things I've been reading are kinda funny. I mainly wear Chippewa's and Red Wings but the style I like is harder to find in black.

Milwaukee looks like a nice boot but like others I'm skeptical about buying them blindly and picky about comfort.

The other thing that's made me kinda laugh is when I read people that have had boots that have lasted 10 years lol... I don't care what brand they are. If I get more then a couple of years out of a boot I feel I've done alright.
