I just bought these a few weeks back. I've used them a couple times and I am pretty happy with them. Sure beats getting to work and walking around in wet shoes for six hours!! Anyone else have any, or anything like them? They're very sturdy, very waterproof. They have a half sole, so they don't interfer with my shifting abilities. Many of the Harley dealers also carry them. I'm in pretty good shape now. Good rainsuit, good bootcovers. Now if the evo doesn't fail on me!! The miles are starting to worry me.

I bought new rain gear before Zip's rally. Mine was dropping dark blue shiney stuff out of the inside as I walked along! It was was about 15 years old.

Anyways, while I was there I bought "T" the ones you posted. Take 'em home all proud for buying her a present. She already has a pair. So, she runs back to the dealer and trades them for "12s" Gotta tell ya'. I used the crap out of them. Obviously, I have lowers but your feet (boots) still get wet. Plus, when you're riding all day in the rain it's nice to put your feet on the highway pegs on occasion.

Never thought I'd own any. I like 'em.

One downside was trying to jump about 4' of run off in the median when we stopped under an overpass to let a torrential downpour pass. Kinda like walkin' around in swim fins!

It's nice to see someone make those. Totes used to make 'overboots' years ago that worked well. For those of us who 'aren't' fair weather riders they are VERY nice to have.

I don't have them because:

It doesn't rain here
Don't care if my tennies get wet the few times it does
Rain actually cools off my burning athletes foot (me, athletes foot, that's a laugh)
Only time my white tennies get washed
They would look silly with my shorts and tank top

Besides, when it does rain, it gives everyone in cars a good laugh, "hey look, there is a fat old guy that is too stupid to drive a car, too old to drive a real motorcycle.

But, you know, when you're riding ALL DAY EVERYDAY in the rain ya' just don't give a shit!

Plus, I was wrong, Kim. I got the HD ones. Look identical. At a glance I thought that was Bar and Shield. Duh.

they look very bulky... Im imagining the inside of the boot must rub against the heat shield .. Do they have some sort of protective outer lining on the outside but inner portion of the boot.?

The outside is made of 100% waterproof polyester . I have also worn them under my rainsuit. Walking around in them does take a little getting used to. But, I generally take them off once I get to cover. Steve, the reason you don't need them isn't because it doesn't rain there, it's because when it does, you jump in the car. We can't do that.
