Any of you cockholsters care to share whether you wear patches on your vest or jacket?

Perhaps even venture to share a few pics if you do?

I don't know that everyone gets that reference.

I don't do patches but might consider an HST patch on the rear of my boxers.

I thought some of you former (or current) military guys might have some unit or service patches or something along those lines.

I know some think of patches as lame, but I am a little old school. I have two vests and I have two patches on one and one on the other. My primary vest is worn over my jacket and it has two. I have this thing for skulls so..........

Looks good FLA - and I don't think they're lame.

Here's mine - I'm proud of my service in the USMC and I wear this vert proudly. Going to add a POW/MIA patch and a PGR as well.

I need to get a vest for some patches but I'll be the first to admit there ain't gunna be a dam thing sewed onto my $400 custom fitted jacket!!

Personally I think patches are cool unless you want to sew like 100 arbitrary patches on a vest. Some bro might like that but not me.

STAY with a dam theme!!!

Funny, I just started debating this a few days ago. I just renewed my HOG membership, and got the stuff (the atlas/map thing is pretty cool). We plan on trying the Fly N Ride program this year for our anniversary.

Anyways, I got the 06 patch. Ironic, but on top of my file cabinet I had the envelope with my 05 HOG membership. so I found the 05 HOG patch too. My wife looked at them and suggested I put them on my jacket. I said no way in hell, but I might on my vest.

Tough call, I wouldn't mind some patches, but I think they would need to be something meaningful to me (so not the Hog patches!) Maybe one of my duty station rocker panels, one of my navy patches, and of course a FSU patch!

Thease subjects always tend to end up in some physifalyfuckedup debate on who cares and who doesn't and blaw blaw blaw. I will say here @ the shop it seems to each his own. I dont do patches, my buddie does and I like to check out every one elses. I like the arm band for the PGR so I will probably get one of those.

Heated gear and gadgets for my tunes, gps etc etc thats my deal!

Got a couple of leather vests, too hot out here. Usually wear this denum one.

[attachment=4460:attachment][attachment=4461:attachment]

Like Lowman, I was going to put my military stuff on a vest, couldn't bring myself to cut the chevrons off, didn't think buying new ones would be the same.
Funny how uniforms from a long time ago still have great sentimental value.

3) Desert Storm Vet / U.S, Navy

I got a bunch of patches but never sewed them on.

I wear a pin of "Old Glory" and a pin of a MIA from my trip to Rolling Thunder, Ride to The Wall.

Got nothing against patches just prefer it simple.

No patches here either ...

Although I did see a dude out yesterday that was obviously Army/Ex-Army and had the BDU patches of the units he'd been in sewn all over the back. It was pretty fat the way the dark stitching shined and changed light directions on all of the patches.

That DID look cool. I wasn't in the service long enough (only 3 duty stations in 4+ years not counting basic and OSUT) so unless I posed I wouldn't be able to cover an entire jacket-back with them.

To each his own.

I talked to HD a few years ago about this and it started a whole new post. Maby you could do it again HD

On my rags in the 70s I had a Furry Freak Brothers patch from High Times mag. I took it off them and put it on the back of my duerag that I lost last year at Johnstown bike week. That was very rare and if anyone here has found it I would realy like it back. Yeas of course theres a reward.

cool patch Bamsambo. I have a small Bama sticker on all my personal helmets. I reckon I'll have to bring my helmet in with me up near Knoxville, lest I come out to find my bike on the ground or some shit. ehehh.

You fuckers from up North probably can't fathom how seriously some folks take college football down here in the Southeast.
