Rode up until December 26th boys and girls....

Bikes been up on the lift for the last week. What am I doing? Glad you asked...

Have a leak, probably on the shifter linkage off the transmission seal. Repairing that. While I'm at it replacing all seals on primary.

Forward and rear shifter rod ( the one with the spleens, you slide the front and rear shifter arms onto it) bent and spleens would not grab. Bought a new one and will go on soon as I put the primary back together.

Clutch cable leaking at o-ring located in transmission side cover. Need to replace.

Replacing primary chain tensioner.

The '06 standard comes with aluminium covers. Purchased used chrome primary and cam cover. Still have the chrome cover for the transmission side from when I installed a hydraulic clutch on my Deuce. Standard cover fits my bike. Only things I'll need are tranny top cover and chrome head covers....

Installing cruise control. Ordered all the parts; set/resume hand switch, lower left hand control housing, cruise switch, cruise control module.

Cosmetics; driving lamps, turn signal, and headlight get frenched covers. I like the look. Getting a rear LED rear fender skirt to replace the bumper/light assembly on rear fender...

Wish me luck. Hopefully I won't be making any trips to the machine shop...

Ride safe

Don't have that much crap to do to mine Ordy! Just a basic clean-up and maybe replace the worn out clutch lever. Just went up on the block's yesterday. That's it until late March/early April.

Hooked up the trickle charger. That's the extent of my "winter" work, so far.

Good Luck, Ordy!

Rode mine to breakfast this morning. My rule of thumb is: if it isn't raining and is over 40* it is motorcycle time. UNLESS I'm really in the mood, then temperature limit lowers.

it was 8 this morning...

Maybe we should ask the moderators to make up a "Fuck You Jarhead" emoticon like the one we had him make for Screwball?

I can't complain. Usually have the bike on the lift and the tender by the second week in November. This year I made it all the way to December 26th when temps were in the upper 60's.

Put my Bike on the tender a few days ago. Got pretty chilly here last night, 18 degrees, but I'm good. Slept right through it.
