Ok I'm no rocket scientist but I'm sure it's simple to figure out what a twin cam 88 with a 95 SE kit is now rated HP wise. By the way I'm new to the forum and fairly new to HDs .

A Stage II 95 SE Kit for EFI with SE203 Cams is gonna give you about 100 HP.

Thank you Bamsambo ! I have been registered for about an hour and you have helped me solve 2 problems . Number the HP for my bike and number 2 is I read your reply about decel backfire and exhaust leak causing the problem . Well I'll be a MoFo it'd I didn't go to the garage and tighten my front barrel bolts about 3 easy turns each . No more back fire ! 👍

I apologize for the spelling . Spell check is always messing with me . I'm sure you got what I meant . I'm running 205 midrange cams . Again thanks for the tip on the exhaust leak causing back fire ! Damn if I haven't tried everything in the book to correct it .

Thanks for the welcome . I posted a little info in my profile today . Should have introduced myself prior to asking for help . I tend to get all wound up when I lose the power to get on my bike and get away from it all. Lately the bike has been giving me a lot of headaches . Snapped the drive belt a few weeks ago and now im chasing a fueling or electrical .

AFAIK Chevy claim to fame was the "one Hp to cubic inch rule"
That all said its is a quick way to kind of determine the VE os a recip engine.
A engine in very good tune ( N/A) can prudce a lot more .
So as an example 100 cubes with proper CR ETC should net 100HP
Note-not in in the Harley world , as they are the only people that leave so much HP behind on the table so as to sell more parts.
