It comes back to the same old thing. I'm against illegal immigration, so I must hate ALL MEXICANS. The truth is, I have absolutely nothing against any human being that obeys the laws, and makes an attempt to better himself and THIS country.
The guy sneaking across the border IS NOT your typical skilled, educated person that can make a contribution to this country. The couple of dozen guys hanging around Home Depot waving at every car that passes isn't helping the country, isn't paying payroll taxes, isn't paying or contributing to Workers Compensation, isn't helping our schools, ditto all those Hispanic gardener's that are working for cash in their junk pick-up trucks. A family that has way more children than they could possibly afford, then expect others to do it is not helping this country grow. A local lake is usually closed 2 or 3 months during the summer because the bacteria level is too high. City Health Department says it is from disposed diapers. 90% of the people using that park and lake are Hispanic, probably illegals here for the fruit season. It may be their culture to do this, but not the culture here. My Grandparents were immigrants. My Grandfather was requited, he was a brewer. Grandfather on Mothers side was a steel maker. They came here and contributed to this country, they didn't sneak in and stand on a corner waiting for some gringo to pick them up and clean their yard. Arresting every contractor or business that employed illegals would only solve half the problem, and worsen other aspects. Sure, the illegal couldn't find work, but we would end up feeding, clothing, and housing his 10 children. If you don't stop the flood, and DEPORT the non-productive illegals, nothing will change. I'm all for some kind of amnesty program. If an illegal has been here for several years, held a job that actually paid taxes, even though it was through a phony Social Security card, and made some attempt to learn the language, and contribute to his community, Green Card him, give him a chance at citizenship! Per your stats Ordy, of the world's Hispanic population wants to screw itself into world domination, have at it. If you have no problem watching your children starve (seen any African Documentaries lately) OK, off my soap box. |

Like I said, "Smithsonian magazine listed a bunch of changes for the next 40 years...... Yada, yada, yada Not MY stats bub. Screwball do you come off as hating all things foreign? Come on, how long do we know one another. I applaud your stance on Comprehensive Immigration Reform. I agree with you that there are a hell of a lot of Undocumented immigrants that do work, pay taxes;albeit to Social Security, and stay out of trouble and should be given consideration at resident status. I think of folks who want to ship them all out and I say what a fucking nightmare. Look we both know that the powers that be won't do shit about this. The Dems are too chicken shit of loosing their seats(which they're gonna loose anyway) and the Repubs don't want to hear shit about amnesty. Nothing gets done. Me? I have to renew my passport, get a cotton swab of the rim of my colon(and have a dna sample extracted), renew my now void Puerto Rico birth certificate just so I won't be thrown in jail while traveling through some of the states I took an oath to defend. You think you got problems bruddah? Ride safe Ordy |

It's more likely they just enjoy promoting that image. But do you really worry about being harassed while traveling in various regions of the country? |

You know you got issues when your own race thinks you may be the next underwear bomber. I get to close to a New York City cab and the Anglos in the crowd ask me if it's my cab theyed liKe to hail it. You tell me, if LEOs can stop anyone on suspicion of being an illegal, you don't think me and my Omar Sharif looking ass isn't gonna questioned and then arrested when they say "papers please" and I don't produce a valid birth certificate, drivers license, and a sample of DNA from the crack of my ass? Cop stops me and the first words out of his mouth are: "Drivers License, Registration, and proof of Insurance. My neighbor in Bullhead City Arizona, and a local cop says he asks the same thing. If they have a valid drivers license, (doesn't have to be an Arizona License), registration, and proof of Insurance any probable cause is gone. He says he has detained more white teenagers for not having a drivers license than he has detained any adult of any color. Speaking English is not a requirement for driving in Arizona, so that is not considered. At the initial stop they are not allowed to ask for birth certificates, green cards, or any proof of immigration status. When they are stopped for a traffic infraction and do not have the required drivers license, registration, or proof of insurance they MAY be detained. They would be anyway! So would I.
Driving without a license, without insurance, or without valid registration is against the law in Arizona (California Too) and your car is impounded. In Los Angeles (a sanctuary city) Mayor Villaregosa has instructed the Los Angeles Police that cars are not to be impounded. The Driver is allowed to call someone to come and get the car. i believe the same is done in San Francisco, another 'sanctuary city. The cop doesn't wait for the 'other person'. so all the driver has to do is walk around the block and retrieve his car. 2nd, 3rd, or 10th offense is not considered. Mayor Villaregosa said that confiscating the car was discriminatory to the poor who could not afford the impound fees. |

Thats been my thought all along, as a US citizen I have to present ID when asked for in a visit with a law man. Same here BT. The police, in the small town of Cresskill, nJ, have stopped me three times now; and they don't have a "stop on suspicion of being an illegal alien law". Never leave the house without my drivers license, registration, and insurance. I live in a town of about 10,000 souls. Police force is non too big, when you compare it to New York's Finest. In the winter months I drive my car down the hill, about a half mile from our home, and park on the street. I walk about a half block and catch a bus to the New York City Port Authority Bus Terminal. My hours are strange, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. I'm rolling off that bus around 9:10 Pm everyday. About six months ago I get off the bus, had my earphones in listening to music, and start walking towards my car. Squad car pulls up in front of me at an angle and the officer inside yells, "Were you at the BMW?!". I'm listening to Eric Clapton at full volume. I pull off the earbuds and stare at him. He again yells, "Were you at the BMW?" I guess he was expecting me to speak with a Mexican accent cause when I opened my lip and responded loudly, "I just got off the bus!" he gave a look of 'Oh shit, it speaks english". He looked at me and said "Calm down you don't need to shout". I tell him, "I was just about to tell you that, you don't need to shout". He looks at me and saids, "We're looking for someone who fits your discription". I said, "Officer, that's my car parked down the block, I own a home up the hill, I park my car here every night, get home at the same time everynight, this is the second time you've stopped me on this same block. You say you're looking for someone resembling me, was he wearing a jean jacket with a big ass, glow in the dark, Harley Davidson emblem; that you can't miss it's so big? Did his hat have a mach wave and four yellow diamonds with VA-146 Blue Diamonds, USN on it? Give me a break. Are you looking for someone that resembles me or a latino? He didn't say one word. As I went to leave another squad car pulled up and I immediatly recognized the young police officer in that car. He didn't even want to look at me. He had stopped me on this same street. Actually drove up and shone the light in my face and asked me for "my papers". Wanted to know what I was doing there. I told him about how I ride to Mahnattan in the summer months but park my car here in winter. He told me he rode also and he said he had seen my bike and that it was nice. He wouldn't even look at me. Before I walked off I turned around and told the officer, "well since I'm not the latino you're looking for shouldn't you be hauling ass trying to find the perp that was niggling around the BMW?" He said nothing. They don't have a "stop on suspicion of being a dirty, filthy, welfare grubbing, emergency room needing medical attention, job stealing, drug pedaling, latino in Cresskill, NJ....... Off my soap box. Ride safe Ordy |

It truly is sad that things like that are part of your life. Pisses me off!
You are not the average illegal. Neither are the largely Mexican population of DePue, Illinois who sweated their collective asses off, along with a whole bundh of "whites", in a zinc processing plant when I was growing up. Most of whom, I reckon, were illegal. I guess the difference is, there were enough jobs to go around, albeit crap jobs that likely will kill you from some sort of chemical poisoning. We did everything together. It was just too small a place not to. Personally, I will never forget Rose... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/holysheep.gif) Now, a large percentage of "immigrants" are thugs carrying AK47s. They need to get dead, NOW. Billboards up, in the U.S. warning U.S. citizens to keep the hell out cause it's too dangerous in there is bullshit. There needs to be thousands of troops on the border. In a post 9/11 world EVERYONE should be kept out. Having said that, there should be a whole lot easier path to citizenship and a workable guest worker program. Put it in the private sector to administer it and it will get done. I'm the one that keyed the Bimmer... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hysterical.gif) |
